For Children

PILOTS

What is Pilots?

Pilots is a non-uniformed club for boys and girls aged 4+, which takes place each Wednesday in term time from 6-15pm to 7-30pm at Long Itchington Chapel.

Activities include games, craft, art, cooking, drama, usually with a Christian theme, and lots more including occasional outings.

Pilots is involved in village events such as: the Village Carnival, at which we won a shield for a walking group; the Guy Fawkes Competition, run by the Green Man Bonfire Committee which we entered and won first prize; and we also planted a tree along with other village organisations.

Pilots make a donation towards the Chapel’s sponsored children in Uganda and India.

It’s suggested that Pilots bring a small amount of money each week to help towards  running costs.

Child Friendly Church

Long Itchington Congregational Church recently received the Child Friendly Church Award. This means that The Chapel is a welcoming, safe and happy place for children of all ages and abilities to learn more about Jesus.
