During this difficult time, all services and events at the Chapel have been suspended. However, if you are struggling and need help of any kind (pastoral to practical) please get in touch through our contact page or by emailing or calling our minister (details on that same page). Meanwhile, we will be sharing messages of hope and encouragement on the News pages on a regular basis. We look forward to seeing you in the chapel when we are able to re-open
We give a warm welcome to all who visit Long Itchington Congregational Church, also known as The Chapel in the village, and invite you to join us for worship and our various activities.
We hold Café Church on the 2nd and 4th (and 5th, where applicable) Sundays each month, which is suitable for all ages.
The service is very relaxed and caters for both children and adults. The worship includes the usual hymns, prayers and readings, with Holy Communion on the 2nd Sunday of the month. There is a short sermon and an invitation to members of the congregation if they wish to join together in preparing an illustration of the theme.
We also hold Evening Worship at 6.15pm each week (excluding the 1st Sunday of each month), which is a more traditional service. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 2nd Sunday evening each month.
Occasionally we unite for special services and meet in the afternoon. Details of these services are in our Diary of services and events.
We are an Independent church which is affiliated to the Congregational Federation, but the Church Meeting, consisting of the membership of the church, is our governing body.
The Chapel is situated on the corner of Church Road and Orchard Way.
